Common Early Release Days for 2010-11 School Year
2010-11 Before- and After-School Programs
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! You can find the latest information and news about events connected to the opening of the Wake County Public School System right here, with more updates to come.
Traditional calendar schools begin Wednesday, August 25.
Year-round schools began on Friday, July 9. Modified calendar schools started Monday, July 26. Wake Early College of Health and Sciences started Monday, August 9.
The first early release Friday for year-round schools was Friday, July 30. The first early release Friday for traditional calendar schools will be Friday, September 17.
If you need help with anything, be sure to contact your school's front office. Also, our Customer Service Center is only a phone call away at 850-1600.

Major School Renovations for 2010-11
- Wake Forest-Rolesville High School: Wake Forest-Rolesville High students and staff will be returning to their newly renovated school after spending the past year on the Heritage High campus.
