The Technology Services Division was organized in 1997 with the school system's desire to provide Internet access to every school and satellite area in the district. Today, the division continues to diligently work to meet the growing technological needs of the school system including providing support for:

• School and departmental related projects such as StARS, Blackboard, and School Messenger
• Oracle and NC WISE, the business and student information applications
• the district-wide E-mail system, Lotus Notes Domino Web Access
• School/Administrative infrastructure and telecommunication needs, and
• Hardware and software issues
