Census is fast approaching!
The U.S. Census counts every resident in the United States, and is required by the Constitution to take place every 10 years.
The 2010 Census will help communities receive more than $400 billion in federal funds, and also help determine the number of seats your state has in the U.S. House of Representatives.

With the 2009-2010 enrollment of 139,599, Wake County Public School System remains the largest school district in the state, and the 18th largest school district in the nation. There were 1,893 more students enrolled on the 20th day in 2009-2010 than on the 20th day in 2008-2009. Read more...
