GROWTH: Will the current building program, PLAN 2004, solve overcrowding?

No. The capital improvement program adopted in 2006 will open 16 new schools and acquire land for 13 more future schools. This building program will not be completed until 2013.
While the program may provide enough new seats to accomodate growth, it will not solve overcrowding which began during the 2004-2006 period of rapid growth.
