Do I get licensure renewal credits for renewing my National Board Certification?

National Board Certified Teachers who complete the PGP to renew their National Board certification are issued 5 renewal credits for completing the process: 2 of the credits will count as "Standard credits" and 3 of the credits will count as "Subject Area credits."
WCPSS employees who want to use your credits toward renewal of your North Carolina teaching license this renewal cycle, register on eSchools (see the eSchools home page for the eSchools SRN for this school year) and send Carolann Wade (c/o WCPSS Human Resources, Crossroads or fax 854-1689) a copy of your letter to Crossroads confirming your renewal from National Board. All 5 renewal credits must be used in one cycle.
