If our children are to achieve their high academic goals, we must continue with our high level of commitment. You, our valued employees, are making the difference in the lives of these children. In addition to our 6,000+ teachers, we have office support, principals, bus drivers, social workers, custodians, assistant principals, guidance counselors, teacher assistants, cafeteria workers, administrators, and others who make up the more than 12,000 employees who serve the students of Wake County on a daily basis.
In honor of your hard work and dedication you to show, we present an Excellence Award to the Employee of the Month chosen from your nominations.
You may ask yourself, "Who Should I Nominate?" We are looking to honor our best - those employees who:
