WAKE STUDENTS WIN AWARDS IN STATE TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION
Arpil 25, 2003 - Students from Moore Square Museums Magnet Middle School and Wake Forest- Rolesville High School technology student associations joined hundreds of middle and high school students at the 24th Annual State TSA Conference in Greensboro on April 12-13.
Four Moore Square students - Jada Bowser, Vonsia Garris, Chris Pate, and Brian Serow competed in state-level events. Vanessa Voight, Valerie Voight, Andrew Geiner, Drew Mitchell, advisor Dana Deaton and CIC Michael McPherson of Moore Square Middle also attended the conference.
Moore Square seventh-grader Chris Pate placed second in the TSA Computer Applications event, earning the school's newly formed chapter its first state competition trophy. Several other Moore Square students placed in the finalist category in the Digital Photography, Communications Challenge, and Electrical Applications events.
