365-Day Suspension |
suspension from school, school activities, and school grounds for 365 calendar days from date of incident |

Advocate |
a person who may represent/presents the student's case |

Assault Resulting in Serious Injury |
An intentional physical attack causing the victim obvious severe or aggravated bodily injury involving a broken bone (s), loss of teeth, possible internal injuries; severe lacerations and bleeding or loss of consciousness; And/or requiring emergency medical services by trained school personnel or other health professional (e.g. EMS) and/or hospitalization. |

Witness |
a person called to testify to provide information directly relevant to the incident resulting in long-term suspension recommendation |
